Evolution of Android - Journey from 2003

The evolution of Android began in the year 2003. After the tremendous efforts of the developers, our lives become easier and convenient day by day. Android OS has a unique background which makes a man enthusiastic as he keeps getting into it.

Here I am trying to share something I know.

Android means "A robot that appears sort of a man".
Android was created by Andy Rubin in 2003.
The inventors of Android are Andy Rubin, Rich Miner, Nick Sears. The first Android Inc. was located at Silicon Valley.
The birth of Android was by Google. In 2004 google developed Android Inc.
The initial release of Android was on 23 September 2008.
Actually, Android was designed for a digital camera platform. Later it was developed for mobile phones.
The amazing fact to note down about android is it was a Linux based operating system. It is written using Linux.

The first smartphone device with Android was launched in the year 2008 on a mobile phone named HTC Dream or T-Mobile G1.

The important fact to note down about the Android is they always release their versions in Alphabetical order: Alpha, Beta, Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat, Oreo, Pie.

So after looking at the hierarchy, we can say that the upcoming version name may start with the letter "Q" or something else.

From an early age, Apple and Android have a very though competition releasing new updates and features back to back.
